This red wine for aging is one of the first Brazilian wines to be produced with Portuguese grape varieties, stored for aging in oak barrels. This wine represents the full potential of Campanha Meridional.

PORTUGAL’S FLAVOR IN BRAZIL

Quinta do Seival Castas Portuguesas is produced with 50% Touriga Nacional grapes and 50% Tinta Roriz grapes, both varieties grown in the Campanha Meridional region at Seival Winery. This is an elegant red wine that shows the excellence in winemaking with Portuguese grape varieties.

THE PERFECT WINE FOR AGING

This wine has a high aging potential and presents complex aromas and tastes. Considered a benchmark in Brazilian winemaking with the use of foreign varieties.

Deep ruby red.
Smell

Its high aromatic intensity complexity is expressed by the typical floral aroma of Touriga Nacional grapes mixed with fruit compote, fig, black plum and hints of toasted wood.
Taste

A powerful, highly structured wine with a full body and a refreshing acidity.

Best served at 16 to 18 ºC.

Pairing

Perfect with traditional Portuguese dishes as well as with pork, roasted or grilled red meats, roast leg of lamb with herbs, and semi-hard and hard cheeses.
