THE OLDEST VINEYARD IN BRAZIL

This Tannat wine reflects the time when the first grapevines were introduced into the region, in 1976. Vinhas Velhas Tannat grapes are grown in the Campanha Central region, in the oldest espalier-based vineyard in the country, in Santana do Livramento.

A SINGULAR PRODUCTION PROCESS

The vinification process occurs entirely in new French oak barrels, enhancing the features of Tannat grapes, which have perfectly adapted to the Campanha Central terroir. The process is unique because there is no tartaric stabilization or filtration involved.

Limpid and brilliant, intense red in color with strong violet shades and dense tears.
Smell

Dense and tirar aromas ranging from chocolate with a toasted note to ripe red fruits resembling jam.
Taste

An intense, robust body with mature, attractive tannins and a very, very long finish.
Service

Best served at 16 to 18 ºC.

Pairing

Because this is a unique, carefully made wine, it pairs well with exquisite dishes that use beef, lamb or game meat. Hard cheeses such as Parmesan, Pecorino and Grana Padano are another great option.
