In that same year, Giuseppe started planting grapes, thus initiating the family’s grape-growing tradition in Brazil.

In the 1970s, the family pioneered the cultivation of fine grapes, making Darcy, Antônio and Paulo Miolo, Giuseppe’s grandchildren, well known in the region for the quality of their grapes.
