Made with Merlot grapes from Miolo-owned vineyards in the Campanha Meridional region, this was the first wine bottled by Miolo Winery, in 1990.

A well-structured, full-bodied wine with a long aftertaste.

Best served at 16 ºC.

Pairing

This wine's tannicity and alcohol content are not compatible with the bitterness of well-done steaks. Not meant to be served with acidic or salty dishes; instead, it matches better with unctuous, succulent foods. Therefore, it goes perfectly with pot roast, spaghetti with beef ragu, rice-with-meat stew, chicken-with-okra stew, all kinds of pasta, classic pizzas and semi-hard cheeses.
